He was the egg that fell...and got back up. After the Fall by Dan Santat is a relatable and inspiring story, as Humpty Dumpty, the eggo who fell, and broke, gets back up again. In this story, Humpty is put back together by all the king's men. But one thing is different. He is afraid of heights. He got the idea to make planes and sail them, since he could no longer be with the birds. But he lost his plane and that was the day got back up. This was a great book and I recommend it. --Izzy

After the Fall by Dan Santat is a powerful look at taking risks and learning from them. Humpty Dumpty fell and realized accidents can happen. After that he refused to take risks. By the end he understands that you can learn from your mistakes. --Will
