I can't stop reading!

Ok. I sort of went on a graphic novel binge since my last post. In fact, September sort of became all about comics.

Eleven is indeed the magic number.

It all started with a trip to Barnes & Noble that resulted in a big influx of new titles. Of course, I had to check them out right away. That's one perk of being the librarian. :-)

Honestly, I don't have one title that is a landslide favorite. I found the art in Miss Quinces to be super charming. I also really liked Tryout by Christina Soontornvat (but I seem to always like her writing). Conversely, I didn't care for the art in Shark Summer but I really enjoyed the story. I don't know if I've ever experienced this before when reading a comic! Finally, I was smitten with Crumbs--a delightfully witchy story sprinkled with some romance.
