Spring!!!!!

I am so, so happy that the weather is finally warming up. I know in my heart winter isn't over (I'm sure we will have cold or see snow again) but it's getting closer!

Now, one of the things that sometimes happens to my reading is it slacks off a bit. I'm feeling a bit less motivated because I really just want to be outside.

So, I'm not the best at reading series. I have always been frank about that. So I'm feeling a little pleased with myself that I decided to tackle The Book of Dust, the new addition to one of my very favorite series, The Golden Compass. This series was one of the few I finished until Mr. Pullman decided to add some prequels (grumble, grumble). I listened to this and the story was solid and a nice prelude to the rest of Lyra's story. I may actually try book 2!
