I'll be honest, I wasn't jumping for joy then I glanced out the window this morning and discovered...snow. I'm hoping this is snow's last stand for spring. I will say, that I am jumping for joy because it is almost spring break!
I'm really excited to have a bit more time to read. I have a stack (forgot to snap a pick) to get through but here are what's at the top.

I'm listening to the audio version of Nevermoor and am delighted so far. I love the narrator's voice and expression and the story is fresh and creative. I'll admit it is reminiscent of Harry Potter, but is different enough to still feel new and hold my interest. Can't wait to find out how Morrigan manages all of her trials!

I am in love with this book. Okay, so Yummy starts with the history of ice cream (what's not to like) and that is one of my very favorite treats. But the graphic novel is so much fun and full of facts and information that I didn't even know I needed to discover. I love the way the art matches the feel of desserts and hope this starts a new era for high quality graphic non-fiction.

I was so excited to discover the newest Jason Reynolds book in the last shipment for the library. And I'm not kidding when I tell you this book weights a ton! Okay, a ton is an exaggeration, but is is suuuper heavy. I'm already captivated just from flipping through the pages and seeing art and color on page after page. I'm hoping this is as sweet a treat as Yummy. Fingers crossed!
Happy break.
Happy relaxing,
And, of course, happy reading!
