What's on my reading radar this week?

Graphic Novels!

We just got a new books shipment and one of the first things I did was gather up all the new graphic novels that I just HAD to read. Here are the ones that bubbled to the top of my TBR (to be read) pile:

This was so cute.

Oddly is a misfit that doesn't understand why she just can't fit in. And then something surprising happens--she accidentally wishes her parent out of existence! How will she right this horrible wrong? Well, a visit from a surprise relative and then a trip to a magic alternate universe may be they key.

So much fun and left me ready for Volume 2.

It must be witch week in comics (I'll blame it on Halloween). The Okay Witch was another magical graphic novels. And the main character has an amazing name: Moth Hush. She's a half-witch that discovers her mom has lots of secrets (including being a witch) and that she may be able to cast spells too. Silly, fun, & engaging. If you love Roller Girl, then this should be your next read.

These are the books that I just started this morning over a cup of coffee. It's too soon to tell how I'm feeling but both are off to a solid start!

Happy Reading!
