Okay. I'll admit it. I'm a list junky. I organize most aspects of my life around lists. Daily, long-range planning, goals, projects, and of course...reading. Imagine my delight when I stumbled across this list of 25 Greatest YA Books of All Time. What!?

I couldn't wait to examine it closely and see how many I already read. So, what's my number? Sadly, not 20, but it's close! PURPLE are the ones I've read.

1. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

2. Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison

3. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

4. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton

5. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

6. The Princess Bride (yes, like the movie) by William Goldman

7. The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot

8. The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

9. to all the boys I've loved before by Jenny Han

10. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

11. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

12. Court of Thorns & Roses by Sarah J. Mass

13. Divergent by Veronica Roth

14. Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

15. Holes by Louis Sachar

16. The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

17. Simon vs. the Homosapians Agenda by Becky Albertalli

18. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

19. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

20. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

Overall, I think this is a solid list. But I will say I cannot believe Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell didn't make the cut. Honestly, that would be my number one, but I'm just your librarian. I'd love to hear about your favorites!

Happy Reading!
